Project Scope:
ADNOC Offshore currently operates the Umm Shaif field, which is located 150 kms North-West of Abu Dhabi and 31 kms North-East of Das Island. The main oil production and processing facilities of Umm Shaif field are located at the Umm Shaif Super Complex (USSC).
Oil gathered at USSC through the US oil network is partially stabilized and associated gas is dehydrated and exported in separate pipelines to Das Island. At Das Island, the partially degassed oil and associated gas are further treated and exported.
Process:
The purge panel removes contaminants, moisture, or stale air from a system to ensure clean, efficient operation. Using high-capacity fans or blowers, fresh air is circulated, replacing undesirable elements. Commonly performed during commissioning, maintenance, or system upgrades, purging enhances air quality and protects equipment from damage or inefficiency.
