Project Scope:
Khuraijah New Water Distribution Center (WDC) is one of the strategic water distribution projects happening in UAE which will cater to the needs of rapid developments in Northern Emirates. This project will enhance the water transmission and storage infrastructure in Northern Emirates as part of recent extensive water distribution development projects associated with new Umm Al Quawain Reverse Osmosis (RO) seawater desalination plant.
Project includes construction of 9 Nos of 20 MIG Storage tanks and associated Inlet and Outlet piping within new WDC boundary limits. Project scope also includes associated equipments, valves, field / tank mounted instruments, PLC control, hypo-chlorination system etc as part of project.
Process:
Potable water tank farm is a centralized facility comprising multiple storage tanks for treated drinking water. It ensures a steady supply by balancing demand fluctuations, supporting emergency reserves, and maintaining pressure in the distribution network. Equipped with monitoring systems, it safeguards water quality and facilitates efficient distribution to consumers.
Our Solution:
Redundant Siemens PCS7 DCS system and associated IOs with simplex HMI and integration with 3rd party packages (chlorination system) and the main pumping station DCS.
