Vista Automation has successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test for PCS and SGS Control Panel for the pilot project to turn CO₂ into rock in Fujairah. This groundbreaking enviro-revolutionary project is a joint initiative between ADNOC, the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation, Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company), and 44.01, who were the winners of the 2022 Earthshot Prize for Climate, capturing CO₂ from the atmosphere, mixing it with seawater, and injecting it into peridotite rock formations underground.
Vista Automation’s scope of work for this project includes the design, supply, manufacturing, programming, testing, and commissioning of the PCS7 Based Process Control System and Redundant SIL III rated PCS7 Based Safeguarding Systems.
