Emicool is a District Cooling Service Provider and a joint venture between M’sharie L.L.C.-the private equity arm of Dubai Investments PJSC (DIC) – and Union Properties PJSC. Supporting the combined real estate investments of its shareholders has allowed EMICOOL to develop and own a vast range of district cooling utility plants in Dubai Investment Park (DIP), the Green Community, and Dubai Motor City.

Project Scope:

The plant capacity is 75,000 tons. The plant utilizes centrifugal water cooled chiller systems. The facility provides the necessary cooling services to the Green Community – Phase I, residential & commercial areas of Dubai Investment Park. The plant is housed within a 2,500 square meter building which is designed to integrate within the architectural theme of the Green Community.

The project includes twelve sets of chiller modules with total capacity of 60,000 TR, Two TES tanks adding 15,000 TR to the plant capacity with a final total capacity of 75,000 TR.

Process:

District Cooling provides chilled water from a centralized cooling station, through a network of pipes, for air-conditioning purposes.
