Zayed University is the newest of the three government-sponsored higher education institutions in the United Arab Emirates. Achieving accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in the USA it became the first federal university in the UAE to be internationally accredited.

Project Scope:
The project includes the design, fabrication and installation of two modular chiller plants for Zayed University’s district cooling system, which provides air conditioning for all of the University’s buildings and the piping network.

The system features a parallel chiller arrangement. The pumping arrangement is primary secondary

Process:
District Cooling provides chilled water from a centralized cooling station, through a network of pipes, for air-conditioning purposes.

Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC System; Redundant Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View Site Edition SCADA System, and Endress-Hauser Instrumentation system
