Project Scope:
This project is launched to upgrade the Existing 30-year old central utility plant that includes power generation plant, LPG plant, Boilers, and district cooling plant servicing the KSU campus and housing complexes.
The project includes the replacement of a total of 6 chillers each of which with a 5000TR capacity and the upgrade of the mimic-type monitoring system to a state-of-the-art PLC/SCADA system.
Process:
District Cooling provides chilled water from a centralized cooling station, through a network of pipes, for air-conditioning purposes.
