Project Scope:
Climate Control in the bulk storage room is very important for the quality and integrity of the manufactured Urea products. HVAC control system plays an important role in this process and provides the control of the chiller operation and other HVAC equipment.
Chiller system and HVAC control of bulk storage area in hall 6 is controlled with the obsolete Siemens S5 PLC and HMI. QAFCO was facing problems with the software upgrades and the spare parts availability and decided to upgrade to the latest Siemens technology.
