Project Scope:
This is one of the country’s biggest districts cooling plant serving Abu Dhabi’s new Midfield Terminal Building (MTB). With a capacity of 55,000 tones of refrigeration, the district cooling plant provides air conditioning for the MTB through 18 chillers and two thermal energy storage tanks.

The district cooling system meets rigorous international green building standards (Estidama) and utilizes innovative technology to increase energy efficiency and provide sustainable air conditioning for the MTB.

Process:
District Cooling provides chilled water from a centralized cooling station, through a network of pipes, for air-conditioning purposes.
