Vista is awarded the contract to Design, Supply, Supervision of Installation, and Commissioning for the Instrumentation, Controls, and SCADA System for SCADA and Control System for the Sea Water Intake Pumping Station at Ras Al-Khair Industrial Area.

The scope of work covers the instrumentation and control system for the seven 3000HP Sea Water Intake pumps running on Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drives and the associated Condition (Vibration) Monitoring System in addition to the Sea Water screening and treatment system. The entire facility mechanical, electrical, and controls equipment are connected to the central redundant client-server SCADA system with redundant Historian, reporting, and Asset Management System.

The Controls and SCADA solution is based on latest technologies form Rockwell Automation hardware and software with Endress+Hauser instrumentation.

The project is scheduled to be delivered to site by June 2016 and commissioned by December 2016.
